          In accordance with RIGL §42-46-4, §42-46-5 (a)(1) and §42-46-5 (a)(2) the Pension Board will convene into Executive Session to discuss Personnel Issues and Litigation.

          a.    RIGL §42-46-5 (a)(2) Collective Bargaining or Litigation  Motion made to open executive session by Mr. Atchison and seconded by Mr. Satchell.  All in favor

(1)            Discussion and analysis on Darren Burley’s Pension Calculation regarding when Mr. Burley can collect his pension (1) Deferred at age 62 or an early or (2) early at age 50 with a reduced benefit.

(2)           Discussion and analysis on Disabled Police Officers Michael Nye’s (raises) cola if due one

(3)           Discussion and analysis on Carol Messier’s monthly pension amount

(4)           Discussion and analysis on Pension Benefit Statement

(5)           Discussion and analysis on benefit calculation for Mark Longo for service credit time between two different unions

(Make motion to close executive session and seal the minutes)

Motion made to close executive session and seal the minutes by Mr. Atchison and seconded by Mr. Satchell.  All in favor

Motion made to confirm votes taken on item 4 to have Legal Counsel get the federal law and other statues for the pension protection Act for the next meeting to respond to the employee’s question on benefit statements by Mr. Atchison and seconded by Mr. Satchell.  All in favor
