M.       DISCUSSION/ACTION/VOTE ON BENEFIT CALCULATION FOR MARK LONGO FOR SERVICE CREDIT TIME FROM TWO DIFFERENT UNIONS

 

            Attorney Roy explained that the additional % should be using the municipal and added to the police of 2.25% for the 1.75 years of credit service which would be 3.93%

            and Attorney Schmitz explained the Nyhart calculation is current added 1% for each year of service per the police cba explained the views of the plan and documents.  Mr. Landroche spoke on his concerns on how the board should consider Attorney Roy’s interpretation.

 

            Motion made to adopt the calculation by the Actuary on Mark Longo’s pension by Mr. Solmonese and no seconded motion fails

 

            Motion made to adopt Attorney Roy’s Interpretation by Mr. Satchell and seconded by Mr. Hannon.  Mr. Solmonese  abstained  motion carries.

Motion made to pay under old calculation have clerk recalculate using 3.93% and then pay additional amount when received by Mr. Satchell and seconded by Mr. Hannon.  All in favor
