WEST WARWICK TOWN COUNCIL ACTING AS SEWER COMMISSION
PUBLIC HEARING FOR FY21 WWTF PROPOSED BUDGET
MEETING MINUTES

· The Wastewater Enterprise Fund budget for FY22 is $9,471,947 which is a 1.6% increase from FY21.
· The Usage Collections rate will remain the same at $3.55 per hundred cubic foot for West Warwick and Regional reserve users for a 4000 cubic foot minimum charge per unit or edu.
· There are the normal increases in the budget such as health coverage, property and liability, pension, etc…
· There are two new increases in the budget. One for lab testing due to a Consent Agreement for Alum that was implemented by the state and one for KCWA due to a new fee they implemented for fire hydrants.
· Councilwoman Williamson reiterated there is no increase in the sewer bills therefore no impact on the taxpayers.

A motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Messier and seconded by Councilwoman Williamson. All in favor none opposed.
