· Mr. Chapdelaine presented the FY26 proposed budget with a 20-cent increase for cubic footage of usage, along with an additional debt service charge of $35 per EDU to cover the cost of the Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank Bond. An average user would see an annual increase $49.00.
· Mr. Corrente mentioned he received a late email regarding Workers Compensation decrease and only a 3.16% increase in Property & Liability next year. We will see an overall of $20,000 reduction.
· Council President Gosselin expressed his concern with adding an increase to EDU’s.
· The Council asked if they Mr. Chapdelaine and Mr. Corrente could come back with a few different
· scenarios for the increase that is needed. Mr. Corrente said they will absolutely look at different scenarios.
· Council Vice President Williamson mentioned the cost of moving the sludge cost and working with DEM has added some extra expenses.
A motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Messier and seconded by Councilman Licciardi All in favor, none opposed and (5-0) voted to accept. Adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
