D.              Proposed WWTF FY26 Budget (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027) Video

·        Mr. Chapdelaine presented the FY27 Budget to the council, he’s requesting that ordinance 15-18(5) be adjusted for well users. They are charged 10,000 cubic feet of water consumption he would like to lower that amount to 9,000 cubic feet to make it a more accurate consumption reading. This would affect 121 well users with a $48 decrease per user causing a $5,800 net loss.

·        Mr. Chapdelaine asked if Mr. Corrente would like to add anything else.

·        Mr. Corrente added that the Budget was decreased by 1.9%, which is a $202,000 decrease. He explained the sludge removal line-item increase is a contractual increase, and they are not anticipating removing additional sludge from the plant next year.

·        Council President Gosselin asked if there were any questions.

·        Councilman Dennison asked Mr. Chapdelaine what the average savings would be for well users with the ordinance change.

·        Mr. Chapdelaine said it would be a $48.00 decrease for each well user.
