Motion by Ms. Giorno, Seconded by Mr. McCuin, to go into executive session for discussion and/or action regarding those items of business exempt from open meetings under Rhode Island General Laws §42-46-4 and §42-46-5(a)(5) Land Disposition – Tower Street School, §42-46-5(a)(5) Land Disposition – Sale of Old Town Garage (AP 76, Lot 69) and §42-46-5(a)(5) Land Disposition – 12 Ledward Avenue (AP 67, Lot 262). (Voted Unanimously by poll vote)

Executive Session Report
Council President Duhamel announced that the Council, on a motion by Councilor Cooke and a Second by Councilor Giorno, voted to recess the Executive Session and not make a decision on the disposition of the Tower Street School in order to hear the presentation from the Planning Board and from the public, and will report on the other items following the Executive Session.

Executive Session Report
Council President Duhamel reported that, under Land Disposition, it was the consensus of the Council that the Town Manager list the 12 Ledward Avenue property with a broker for public sale; that, under Land Disposition, it was reported that the sale of the Old Town Garage is on schedule to sell to the highest bidder by September 30th, and that, under Land Disposition, regarding the Tower Street School property, the Council made two motions--1) that the Council has determined that the Tower Street School building and land are no longer needed for public purposes, and 2) that the property be marketed for public sale and that the Town Manager be authorized to obtain a broker to be approved by the Council for that purpose.
Motion by Mr. Cooke, Seconded by Mr. Aiello, that the Executive Session minutes be sealed. (Voted Unanimously)
