     Sign-Up Sheets will be available at the Council Meeting for any citizens wishing to be heard.  Citizens who do not sign up to speak will have an opportunity to be heard following the individuals listed on the sign-up sheet.

 

     When addressing the Council, please state your name and address; please conduct yourself in an orderly and respectful fashion.  Citizens will have up to ten (10) minutes and one opportunity to speak.  The comments of citizens accessing this portion of our meeting are neither adopted nor endorsed by this body, but heard as requested.  Comments shall be limited to Council Workshop agenda items only.  If the matter is scheduled for a public hearing, the comments shall be deferred to that agenda item.

 4.    Resolution Memorializing The General Assembly To Enact Legislation Authorizing The Town Of Westerly, With The Approval Of The Qualified Electors, To Issue Not To Exceed $50,000,000 General Obligation Bonds, Notes And Other Evidences Of Indebtedness To Finance the Construction, Renovation, Improvement, Alternation, Repair, Furnishing And Equipping Of Schools And School Facilities Throughout The Town, Subject to Approval Of State Housing Aid At A Reimbursement Rate Or State Share Ratio Of Not Less Than 35% For Expenditures Eligible For State Aid And Provided That The Authorization Shall Be Reduced By Any Grant Received From The School Building Authority Capital Fund – Discussion and Possible Action
