Ms. Thoman-Miller recused from participating or voting on the aforesaid licenses due to a possible conflict of interest being that she is employed by the abutting business/property owner.
Present: William A. Nardone, Esq., representing applicant
Gene Arganese, applicant
Attorney Nardone noted that a resolution was close at hand and requested a short recess in order to finalize an agreement. He provided reasons why the licenses should be renewed.
Solicitor Conley stated that the parties are very close to an agreement and that he would be happy to recommend renewal of the licenses contingent upon an agreement being reached, but if not, he will request a continuance to next month. He further stated that the license renewals will have a series of contingencies placed on them.
Members of the Board had concerns with granting a renewal at this time due to a resolution pending. Discussion ensued.
Motion by Mr. Gencarella, Seconded by Ms. Robinson, that the aforesaid matters be continued to the January 14, 2020 Licensing Board meeting pending discussions between the attorneys and receipt of documentation by the Board from Town Solicitor Conley. (So Voted 5 to 0 – Ms. Thoman-Miller recused)
