            Present:  Wiley Markham, Owner

 

                  Mr. Markham explained his purchase of the aforesaid business, noting that nothing will change and that h; will be operating it the same as the previous owner.  He stated that will rent five coin-operated devices and hopefully would like to upgrade the liquor license to a Class B in order to serve food.  He further stated that he will stay in contact with the Department of Health regarding guidelines for social distancing due to COVID-19.  Mr. Markham responded to questions from the Board.

           

              Discussion ensued regarding the placement of the coin operated devices to achieve the six-feet social distancing.

 

                  No one appeared remotely in favor or to object.

 

Motion by Mr. Nigrelli, Seconded by Mr. Gencarella, that the aforesaid licenses be granted subject to the prior approval of proper authorities. (Voted Unanimously)

 

Motion by Mr. Nigrelli, Seconded by Ms. Belanger, to close the Public Hearing. (Voted Unanimously)

                        Ms. Thoman recused due to a possible conflict of interest being that she is a board member of the Chamber.

 

Motion by Mr. Nigrelli, Seconded by Ms. Robinson, that the action of the Town Clerk in granting the aforesaid license be ratified and confirmed. (So Voted 4 - 0; Gencarella and Thoman recused)
