2.     PUBLIC COMMENTS

 

Comments shall be limited to agenda items, excluding matters to be scheduled for public hearing.

3.     PUBLIC HEARINGS (Liquor License)

 

        Motion by Mr. Nigrelli, Seconded by Ms. Belanger, to open the Public Hearing.  (Voted Unanimously)

 

        Liquor License Class T- Theatre – New

        Ocean Community United Theatre Inc. 

               dba: United Theatre                                                             5-7 Canal Street

 

        Present:  Thomas Liguori, Esq., representing applicant

 

        Mr. Liguori stated that all approvals, excepting the Division of Taxation and the Department of Health, are on file with the Town Clerk and asked that the license be granted subject to receipt of same.  He explained how and where the liquor would be served as well as the setup and occupancy of the theatres and music school.

 

        No one appeared in favor or to object.

 

        Motion by Mr. Nigrelli, Seconded by Ms. Robinson, that the aforesaid license be granted subject to the prior approval of proper authorities.  (Voted Unanimously)

 

        Motion by Mr. Nigrelli, Seconded by Ms. Robinson, to close the Public Hearing.  (Voted Unanimously)

 

 

4.     NEW BUSINESS

     

      a.   New Licenses and Permits

 

            One-Time Event

            Green Shows for Colonial Theatre’s Park Series                                                    

            United Theatre                                                                       Wilcox Park – Gazebo

            July 30 & Aug 1,4,5,6,7,8,11,12,13 & 15, 2021

            6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

 

               Ms. Robinson recused due to a possible conflict of interest being that she is a member of the Board of Directors of Colonial Theatre.

 

        Motion by Mr. Nigrelli, Seconded by Ms. Thoman, that the aforesaid license be granted subject to the prior approval of proper authorities (So voted 4 to 0 -  Ms. Robinson recused).
