  Regular Meeting - April 8, 2021

 

Motion by Mr. Gencarella, Seconded by Ms. Thoman, that the aforesaid minutes be accepted and approved as printed.  (Voted Unanimously)

 

 

3.     PUBLIC COMMENTS Video

 

Comments shall be limited to agenda items, excluding matters to be scheduled for public hearing.

4.     PUBLIC HEARINGS (Liquor Licenses & Others) Video

 

Motion by Ms. Belanger, Seconded by Ms. Thoman, to open the Public Hearing.  (Voted Unanimously)

        Present:  Anatonella Rizzo, owner

 

                Miss Rizzo stated that the business is moving to a new larger space and she explained the operation of same.

 

               No one appeared in favor or to object.

 

Motion by Ms. Thoman, Seconded by Mr. Gencarella, that the aforesaid license be granted subject to the prior approval of proper authorities.  (Voted Unanimously)

 

Motion by Ms. Belanger, Seconded by Mr. Gencarella, to close the Public Hearing.  (Voted Unanimously)

From Savage Law Partners, Edward D. Pare III, Esq. - re: Weekapaug Inn & Cottages LLC, 25 Spray Rock Road; Noise disturbance.

 

      Town Solicitor Conley noted that this is a matter involving private parties by agreement between the parties; therefore, the Town does not get involved.

 

From Westerly Police Chief Shawn Lacey - re: RI Party Bike – 19 Winnapaug Road

 

     Town Solicitor Conley informed the Board that RI Party Bike cannot be issued its license due to the inability to register the vehicle in Rhode Island.

 

            The aforesaid correspondence was received and placed on file.
