Mr. Dodd explained the event, stating that it is an opportunity for the different surf companies in the area to get together in one setting to celebrate surfing. He stated that the event also has underlying themes of conservation and environmental initiatives. He noted that a Rhode Island film company will be showing a sequence of films.
Motion by Mr. Nigrelli, Seconded by Ms. Vorenkamp, that the aforesaid license be granted subject to the prior approval of proper authorities. (Voted Unanimously)

Present: Jenn Brinton, 27 Yarmouth Dr, wedding coordinator
Ms. Brinton stated that the rehearsal dinner will take place on Friday, September 30, 2022, and that the wedding will take place the following day, Saturday, October 1, 2022, at the location known as “The Timbers” at 19-23 Ocean View Highway. She noted that the groom is the son of one the business partners who own the property. She explained that, due to prior issues with the Town, the Town required the Special One-Time Event License, and that Sperry Tents has filed for a tent permit. She responded to questions from the board regarding parking, stating that applicant has hired three buses to shuttle guests and requested private detail officers for the event.
