a.     Cease and Desist – Pizza Vita Inc./dba:  Pizza Vita, 55 Beach St – Update and Further Actions

 

     Town Clerk LeBlanc stated that, after the Cease and Desist Order was served on May 11, 2023, the business owner contacted the Town Clerk’s office and was informed of the outstanding matters that needed to be resolved for the license to be issued; however, no further contact has been made by the business owner.

 

     Town Solicitor Garcia explained that the Town issued a conditional Cease and Desist Order allowing the license to be issued if it came into compliance.  He stated that the Cease and Desist Order can be continued until the operation comes into compliance and the license can be issued or it can be put down for another date for further review. 

 

Motion by Mr. Abate, Seconded by Mr. Iacoi, that the conditional Cease and Desist Order be continued.  (Voted Unanimously)

a.   Request for Special Meeting

 

     Town Clerk LeBlanc requested that a Special Meeting be scheduled to consider license applications and one-time event permits received after the submittal deadline for this meeting but would require consideration prior to the July regular meeting.

 

Motion by Mr. Iacoi, Seconded by Ms. Thoman-Miller, that a Special Licensing Board Meeting be scheduled for Friday, June 16, 2023, at 9:30 a.m.  (Voted Unanimously)
