Shelter Harbor Golf Club LLC

Present: Edmund L. Alves, Esq., Blish and Cavanaugh Law Firm, representing the applicant
Attorney Alves stated that the Shelter Harbor Golf Club holds a Class D Beverage License which allows the club to sell alcoholic beverages within the club house, on the outside patio, under tents for special events, and from mobile carts along the golf course. He explained that the purpose of the petition is to expand the licensed premises to include two four-bedroom cottages located on the Westerly portion of the property.
No one appeared in favor or in opposition.
Motion by Ms. Thoman-Miller, Seconded by Mr. Iacoi, that the request for expansion of the existing licensed premise for the limited purpose of private in-room service within existing cottage facilities be granted subject to the prior approval of proper authorities. (Voted Unanimously)

1. Department of Business Regulation Amendments to 230-RICR-30-10-1,
Liquor Control Administration
Town Solicitor Conley explained the proposed amendment to eliminate Rule 1.4.14 – Granted License (Not Issued). It was stated that if the amendment is adopted, the Licensing Board may have to amend its “Conditions of Beverage Licenses and Rules and Regulations To Be Observed By All Retail Liquor Licensees” by removing Rule 25.
