Motion by Mr. Nigrelli, Seconded by Mr. Iacoi, that the aforesaid minutes be accepted and approved as printed. (Voted Unanimously)

Mr. Gencarella recused himself due to a possible conflict of interest because he is a participant of the event and Vice Chair Nigrelli assumed the Chair.
Motion by Ms. Vorenkamp, Seconded by Mr. Iacoi, that the aforesaid license be granted subject to the prior approval of proper authorities. (So Voted 4 to 0 – Mr. Gencarella recused)
Chair Gencarella resumed the Chair.
Ocean Community United Theatre Downtown Westerly
October 31, 2024 4:00 pm – 7:30 pm High St – Canal St
Mr. Vorenkamp recused herself due to a possible conflict of interest because she is the coordinator of the event.
Motion by Ms. Thoman-Miller, Seconded by Mr. Iacoi, that the aforesaid license be granted subject to the prior approval of proper authorities. (So Voted 4 to 0 – Ms. Prezekop recused)

Motion by Ms. Vorenkamp, Seconded by Mr. Iacoi, that the aforesaid license be granted subject to the prior approval of proper authorities. (Voted Unanimously)

1. Surf Cantina
Mr. Nigrelli stated that the neighbors of Surf Cantina submitted a petition to the Town Council concerning noise complaints with the establishment’s inside entertainment. He stated that he will not be present at the November 7, 2024 meeting and asked the Board to consider placing restrictions on Surf Cantina inside entertainment license by requiring that all exterior doors be closed during entertainment.
The Clerk was directed to invite the owners of Surf Cantina to be present at the November 7, 2024 hearing to respond to questions from the Board regarding the neighbors’ concerns.
