Motion made by Councilman Kithes seconded by Councilman Soucy to amend as follows: In Section 1 strike "not less than 5 and not more than 11 members" and in its place insert "10 members, including two (2) individuals who are black, two (2) individuals who are asian, two (2) individuals who are hispanic & two (2) individuals who are indigenous / native american, as a separate element of makeup at least two (2) members must be members of the LGBTQ+ community and at least two (2) must be women. This board shall". Motion failed 6-1 with Councilors Kithes voting yes. 7 to 0 by roll call vote.
