20.        Discuss and Act:  Resolution to Authorize Extension of Electricity Supply Agreement.

Barrington Community Electricity Program - NextEra Energy Supply Contract Recommendation (Good Energy)

 

21.         Presentation  and Update: Curbside Compost Pilot Project (Eastern RI Conservation District)

22.        Discuss and Act: Parks and Recreation Commission (PRC) Recommendations- Resolutions to Increase Dog License Fees and Dog Violation Penalties.

a.      Increase dog license fee by $2.00 per dog with the increase in fees allocated to dog waste disposal. (Additional $1,500 in annual funding for dog waste removal fees.)

b.      Increase fines for leash law violations

c.      Provide (4) heavy-duty free-standing benches, access to electricity, and access to potable water for the Town’s Temporary Dog Park if it becomes permanent.

d.      Explore implementing a “Bark Pass” system or a membership card-system for use in the town’s dog park(s) as an alternative to implementing a dog license fee increase.
